Save the Monarchs
Our club has a resident Monarch Specialist, although she would not call herself an expert, she is so modest.
Paula VanSingel raises Monarchs during their growing season and has a lot of knowledge that she is happy to share with anyone interested in doing the same. She can be reached at her email address:

* Another thing that we would like to promote is the Monarch License Plate Decal Survey. The DVM will begin production of a new specialty plate cateogory after receiving 2000 requests for the plate. So far there have only been several hundred requests. It is only $10.00 to request a decal.
The non-refundable fee will be deposited into the special fund to plant roadside milkweed habitat in Illinois. If you are interested you can download the request here.
