OUR CLUB HAS A VARIETY OF PROJECTS

1. The club has donated to the Ancient Oaks Foundation to help with clearing/establishing areas throughout Lake Zurich. 
   
2. The club also donated two white swamp Oak Trees to the Village of Hawthorn Woods in September 2025.  We are dedicated to the preservation of the parks and also to the many oak trees in our community. 
   
3. Members participate in maintenance of the Ela Public Library gardens.
   
4. Annual Spring Plant Sale in May.  This year’s Plant sale will be held May 16th, 2026 at the Ela Public Library, Lake Zurich. Time 8:30 - Noon. 
   
5. Donations are given to two food pantries in the area on a rotation basis.  The food pantries are St. Matthew Lutheran Church and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
   
6. Six Little Free Libraries for Lake Zurich and Hawthorn Woods.  Books are donated to this library boxes throughout various neighborhoods.
   
7. Replacing the plants of the Memorial Planter located in the Ela Library garden.
